Last night we sang Edelweiss while tucking into fondue, some played the 8ft alphorn, while two brave souls played the Swiss Cow Bells. We’re off to the ICT and Science Museum, the UN Palace and will end our trip with the boat cruise. Exciting day ahead!
Here is a snap shot of the day; we’ve had lots of discussions that have ranged from the interaction of fundamental particles and the origin of the Universe to our dislike of fizzy water! George’s quote of the day… “Trams have the right of way!”
Everyone is up a and raring to go!
Everyone is safe and well and excited about the upcoming visits. We’ve checked into the youth hostel before exploring the sights on the shore of Lake Geneva. Ice creams and slushies were a welcome relief from the 25 degree night air. An early start tomorrow as we head for CERN and the Large Hadron Collider.
We are all excited at the prospect of our upcoming trip. We are meeting at CCS on Tuesday at 13:30 for our pre-trip meeting with Mrs Pearmain and Mr Rose.
In the mean time…
Our trebuchet challenge provided with lots of fun opportunities to discuss the physics of projectiles!
