It is week 3 of the Northamptonshire sport virtual school games and the challenge this week is athletics. Now, being the 6 time indoor athletics champions surely we have to put our best foot forward and represent CCS! Make sure you are signed up and send in your challenges!
Finally, we launch our very own virtual sports day on Thursday, make sure you Check it out and have a go at the activities with the WHOLE family! Note, this link will not be live until 5pm on Tuesday 5th May
Northamptonshire sport have released details on how you can be involved in their summer games. It’s a great opportunity to represent your school and have a great time whilst doing it! Follow the link below to sign up!

I hope you’re all well and keeping active. It certainly was a busy weekend for the staff and families of CCS. Yesterday over 40,000 runners were due to take part in the London Marathon, unfortunately that couldn’t take place, Fortunately, there was a national launch on the 2.6 challenge.
For this you had to walk, run, cycle or skip 2.6 miles. If you wanted to then you could be more creative and try to complete 26 of something, I saw Gareth Bale do 26 kick ups. Here are a few pictures of the CCS staff completing their challenge…

We have set up a Facebook page, just search ‘Caroline Chisholm School PE on Facebook and you’ll be able to see what the staff and children of CCS have been doing. I use that page to post photos of staff being active, ideas for keeping active and fun things to do with your family. Most importantly pictures of me and Coby, just so you can see we are safe and well! 🙂

Joe Wicks continues to lead his daily fitness sessions to the world, I hope you’re enjoying these. Note that these are not PE lessons, with Joe you’re getting a great workout but you’re not testing the other qualities you guys share in pe such as, team work and leadership.
Northamptonshire Sport are posting daily videos with activities and challenges for you to take on.
The Youth Sport Trust have created a fantastic active bingo for you guys to try out. Your task is to complete as many of the challenges as possible, get that medal CCS!
