Year 10 Netball Friendly v Quinton House at CCS 28 1 2020

On a cold Tuesday after school, CCS welcomed Quinton House for a Year 10 Netball friendly.  Quinton House started off the stronger netball team and went 2 – 1 up in the first quarter.   T McCaughey played really well at centre against a very strong QH centre.

In the second quarter CCS made some positional changes and it worked better for the team with C Wood moving to GS and shooting well under the post and H Pettit played fantastically at GA and was very strong in the circle and centre third.  (Some fantastic goals scored by H Pettit too.)   The combination of E Payne (great passing into the circle and amazing energy) and H Pettit proved very successful and P Hawkes played incredibly well as GD, superb at both defending and attacking play.  CCS went into a 10 – 3 lead at half time

In the third and fourth quarters, P Hawkes was superb in defence, intercepting and passing well so CCS could increase their lead.  The defending of T Chinyanganya and O Ogbuefi was solid and effective and the final score was CCS 13 Quinton House 4

Players of the Match –
