37 miles to go but some of the children couldn’t resist a little sleep on the coach.
It’s been a fabulous week – really proud of all our children’s ‘can do’ attitude, even in the heat! Everyone is tired but buzzing with their memories of the week.
We are on our way – next stop Telford for lunch. We will keep you posted on our ETA.
We are sad to leave this amazing place!
But looking forward to seeing you !
We’ve had the time of our lives!
….. and so we have reached the end of our fantastic week in Wales. Everyone came together for our last evening at the sun soaked harbour. This was the BBQ of all BBQ’s and everyone tucked into burgers and sausages, salad and a big iced cake with a cherry on top to finish. Then we watched the strictly team dance.
and finally, what we had all been looking forward to – The Beach!
Our final activity of the week was archery!
Thomas 1 was the first to pop the balloon so he had to replace it!
What an amazing afternoon we have had climbing in the sunshine. We scaled a very steep hill to the rock face and then scrambled up. Keziah even sang her way to the top :-). We then climbed through the gold quarry and down some huge boulders back to the hill. After a very lively , greatest showman filled, journey back, we are now ready for the beach and a bbq.
The conquerors had a great afternoon kayaking…well, more like swimming…and there may have been some mud sliding too. Great fun had by all.
